Editor-in-Chief
The Weary Man is our journalism and communications expert whose column primarily focuses on reviewing “news” from various media outlets. The downside of this audacious undertaking is that the constant analysis of the bile that the American media continuously spews is taxing on anyone with an intellect. Nonetheless, our brave editor-in-chief will continue exercising journalistic justice by rooting out and exposing the lies.
Topics: Current events, misinformation, headlines
Columnist
Quite often, we mistake The Realist’s adherence to truth and reality as pessimism. With perpetual resting bitch face, this fine gent is our resident criminologist who takes a particular interest in examining criminal cases, analyzing police/civilian interactions, and reflecting on social issues. Additionally, The Realist occasionally aids The Weary Man in tackling misinformation generated by the media, notably when The Weary Man is a bit too weary from all the bullshit.
Topics: Crime, human behavior, societal issues, current events
Columnist
If we’re being honest with ourselves, it would be fair to say that The Skeptic exhibits the least amount of bias out of the five of us. A cynic by nature, she will prove something wrong and will go out of her way to do so with empirical evidence and well-documented scientific affirmations. If you’re going to believe anyone on this site, it’s most likely going to be her.
Topics: Social sciences, gender/sex, psychology
Columnist
If you are easily offended or susceptible to mockery, then perhaps it’s best you stay away from this fellow’s column. Armed with unmerciful wit and a penchant for engaging in brutal, unequivocal commentary, The Satirist has no shame when it comes to eliciting ridicule. In contrast to the other columnists, our unhinged, overly jubilant friend prioritizes humor and ridicule over anything else, even occasionally making fun of the rest of us.
Topics: Politics, entertainment, pop culture, society
Fallacy Eviscerator
Block Man is the loose cannon of the bunch, not to mention the most profane and offensive out of the five of us. If you think The Satirist is bad, then buckle up. Block Man has one objective: to seek and destroy…bad logic and terrible people. If he’s browsing the internet and finds stupidity, whether it’s on a webpage, in a video, or in some cesspool of a comments section, he will not hesitate to voice his opinion and trust us, he won’t hold anything back no matter how derogatory or insensitive it is.
Topics Hobby: Destroying flawed logic, brutally chastising terrible people
Guest Columnists
To supplement our regular columnists, we employ the use of guest columnists to write for us.
This mustachioed, cigar smoking hardass works in the delivery industry, an occupation that has plenty of problems for someone to bitch about. Whether it’s UPS, Fedex, the Post Office, or other, Delivery Guy has beef that you’ll want to hear.
The Philosopher
As a more laid back columnist, The Philosopher likes to delve into the complexities of life by questioning the existential nature of humanity and the unknown.
